The jersey blends 62% silk with 38% organic cotton. Silk brings a soft lustre and a natural drape, while the cotton adds stability and ease of wear, so the shirt never feels precious to put on. A rib neck trim keeps the opening in shape, and herringbone back neck tape finishes the seam cleanly. The fit is regular, and the construction is deliberately plain, which is what lets the texture of the fabric show.

It is light enough to wear on its own on a warm day and refined enough to layer with tailoring when the occasion asks for it. White is the least complicated version of a shirt like this. Keep everything around it simple and let the cloth do the work.
